pitchfork has mentioned minicomp2 a few times in the past couple of weeks. they posted a news item about it, which features an mp3 of snippets taken from the record. they also included the bonde do role track in one of their "forkcast" music posts.
our awesome friend pete nicely made a video for "sexy rap proposition!," the mmc song on minicomp2. sweet pete's clip was made using a batch of found photos that feature people enjoying friendships and other fun relationships. watch it!
the first minicomp came out a little more than a year ago and features ditties by casiotone for the painfully alone, odd nosdam, dat politics, and baby dayliner. it's pretty close to being sold out, but there are still a few copies available here.
the third minicomp is in the works now and is being compiled by bomarr of restiform bodies. it's slated to feature contributions from tunng, broken spindles, copy, and grand buffet. more info soon!
